After moving some furniture around and a day of thrift store shopping. Wyatt now has more space to play and can get to his toys easier. I have also taken out over half of his toys to rotate them in, so he can manage what he has better.
lunch break on our shopping day |
He was a trooper on our shopping day (we stopped at 7 shops), snacks on the road and turnip greens at Cracker Barrel were fuel to keep him going. As well as, his new finds: an orange ball (free), a green dinosaur (.25), a wooden boat (free thanks to Mr. Tom), a basket to house his pink and purple crayons (.25), and 3 crayons at Cracker Barrel (free).
His treasures are on top of what he calls his "closet" (the white piece of furniture, which by the way pulls out to function as his desk as well.) A ship ($2 at a porch sale in Wilmington), his box where he keeps all of his finding from our time outside (feathers, rocks, shells, pecans, berries, sticks,, etc), and his bank (He loves hunting for coins with his magnifying glass).
