Cats

Two sleepy boys 

 

As most of you know, Wyatt has a pet cat named Daniel. He loves Daniel, and some of the time Daniel will tolerate Wyatt's love. Everyday Wyatt feeds his cat and gives him water. We have a system now where I will pull down the bag of cat food for him with a scoop in it and fill up a watering can that he can then poor in. (This works much better than Wyatt climbing up the stepstool to get in the sink to get the water, or the times Wyatt has poured the whole bag of food out for Daniel to eat.)

At a thrift store, we picked up a tiny notebook of blank pages for him to write on that has a cat on the front of it. The other day, he was "reading" to me about what it says about cats:

"Cats eat food and drink water"

"Cats have shark claws." (no that was not a spelling error, shark= sharp)

"



And while Wyatt says we will have a dog one day, he truly loves cats.
